Hello, my name is Cookie. I am the reigning mascot and "Lady of the House". I begin my day by pawing at Jerry and Julia's bed to let them know its time for breakfast. I see them downstairs and supervise the breakfast operation. Of course, I never let them forget that its time for my morning boiled egg. I then follow them up to the parlor to serve the guests where I will introduce myself if I haven't already.

After breakfast I survey my land. I keep the lawn free from flying bugs and sometimes assume the role of lawnmower if some of the grass gets out of hand. By then its time for my nap in the sun.

I am a purebred Pekingese. I am very well mannered and will be sure to not bother the guests. In fact, I stay downstairs if any guests are allergic to us dogs.

My favorite part of the day is when I go on walks into town with my Mom or a Guest. I have to check out all the sights and smells of Ouray. I also love to show people how I can stand on my hind legs and walk around like a person. Of course, I work for a living here, so bring treats. Hope to see you soon!
